On February 6, the regular weekly consultative meeting was held at the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations, chaired by RA ES Acting Minister Haykaram Mkhitaryan.
Rescue Service Director, r/s Colonel Mushegh Ghazaryan reported on accidents registered, the measures undertaken and current activities implemented during the previous week. Rescue Service responded to 98 cases in the mentioned period. M. Ghazaryan also reported, that Yerevan city Rescue Department’s performance report for 2016 will be held on February 7.
Director of “Service of Hydrometeorology and Active Impact to Atmospheric Phenomena” SNCO L. Vardanyan presented the weather forecast for the upcoming days. The Director informed, that no precipitation was expected in the next 5 days. On February 9, there would be variable cloudiness, and the significantly higher temperature would be maintained.
Crisis Management State Academy Rector, r/s Major General H. Matevosyan mentioned, that the training process at the Academy was underway, as well as reported on the process of the international conference dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Crisis Management State Academy.
