«As Azerbaijan continuously rejects the agreements of Vienna and St. Petersburg, the Minsk Group needs to find some mechanisms, one of them being an addressed statement”, said newly appointed Deputy Defence Minister Artak Zakaryan, referring to the OSCE Minsk Group’s addressed statement which had followed the enemy’s striking of Armenian artillery.
According to him, the mentioned statement is not a complete deterrent mechanism, but it proves which side has violated the ceasefire. “It is not excluded that after a certain frequency and recurrence, Azerbaijan might be subjected to international sanctions”, Artak Zakaryan added.
