On August 20,c.y., at 10:18 local time (at 06:18 by Grinvich), the RA MES Seismic Protection Survey Seismological Network registered an earthquake at the northern latitude 40.46⁰ and eastern longitude 45.35⁰ geographic coordinates (Armenia, 15km south from the Town of Chambarak), with 2.8 magnitude and 10 km depth.

The tremor measured magnitude 3-4 points at the epicenter area.
