On May 25, the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee Armen Ashotyan received the Head of NATO Liaison Officer in South Caucasus Rosaria Puglisi.
In the course of the meeting the interlocutors touched upon the inner-political recent events happened in Armenia and the current developments, the external and security policy priorities.
In this context the fact that the new Government will continue the foreign policy vector adopted by the former executive power: i.e. without abrupt twists for Armenia. The Committee Chairman added that the executive power and the parliamentary opposition majority tandem should do its best for building more democratic and secure future of Armenia.
Touching upon the parliamentary diplomacy role, Armen Ashotyan noted that we should present state interest of Armenia in the international arena together.
Regarding the peaceful settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the Committee Chairman noted that the solution of the conflict would be possible exclusively through the peaceful settlement in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, involving the Artsakh people in decision making.
