“RIA Novosti” reports that Russian State Duma President Vyacheslav Volodin announced that no escalation in the situation in Nagorno Karabakh should be allowed.
“We cannot not to be concerned about Nagorno Karabakh issues. You know that Russia supports the peaceful settlement of this conflict. All those who are in favor of aggravating the situation, all those who ignore people’s wish to live in peace, are inclined to take the path of tension. We must do our best to prevent that. Azerbaijan has always had a right and constructive stance regarding the Karabakh issue”, said Volodin at a meeting with Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker Ogtay Asadov in Baku.
