On July 19, the RA NA Vice President Mikayel Melkumyan met with the businessmen, who had arrived from Slovakia and Bulgaria.
During the meeting the issue of the opportunity of cooperating in different spheres of economy and implementing investment programmes.
The RA NA Vice President has presented the political situation created in Armenia to the guests, noting that favourable conditions are created in our country for implementing the investment programmes. Mikayel Melkumyan also touched upon the steps directed to the implementation of the anti-monopoly and anti-corruption reforms.
The Deputy Speaker of the RA Parliament expressed his indignation at the export of the Dana self-propelled hawitzer artillery systems from Slovakia to Israel, then to Azerbaijan, noting that the process should be stopped.
The Slovak and Bulgarian businessmen presented their vision of the investment programmes. It has been noted that Armenia is a wonderful bridge between the EU and the EEU, and effectively using that opportunity they could register serious progress in the economic development.
