Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received businessman, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Children of Armenia Foundation Garo Armen and cultural figure Tony Shafrazi, who has collaborated with several world-renowned artists, including Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister was introduced to the activities of the Children of Armenia Foundation and its upcoming programs, including education and culture. Garo Armen noted that they are planning to create centers similar to the SMART Innovative Educational Center in Debed community of Lori Marz in other regions of Armenia. Strong with highly professional faculty, the Center will be attended by schoolchildren and young people. Latest technologies, foreign languages, arts and crafts will be taught at SMART centers.
Touching upon their plans relevant to healthcare and other spheres, Garo Armen noted that different Diaspora-based business communities are considering the possibility of implementing investment projects in the Homeland.
Appreciating the activities of the Children of Armenia Foundation, Nikol Pashinyan welcomed the initiatives of Diaspora representatives aimed at implementing multifaceted business projects and assured of his government’s readiness to provide conditions for doing business and making a profit in Armenia. At the same time, the Premier suggested working closely with the relevant government departments in order to achieve maximum efficiency in implementing the proposed investment programs.
