According to political analyst Alexander Iskandaryan, there are attempts to resurrect the Minsk group process in the Artsakh conflict resolution, which has already died.

“The meeting between Pashinyan and Aliyev in Davos was not coincidental. Coincidental meetings do not take place in Davos. In any case, that had definitely died back in 2016. Now there are attempts to resurrect that process so that one of the formulations can exist: security and connection between the two sides,” the political analyst said.

According to him, this process will result in a meeting between the two countries’ leaders, which is obviously being prepared. “In my opinion, the meeting between Pashinyan and Aliyev was not coincidental. Coincidental meetings do not take place in Davos.”

Regarding inner political developments, Iskandaryan noted that the most important process taking place in Armenia currently is the new government plan. According to him, discussions about the new government and its plan will continue for a while.
