Earthquake at Georgia-Russia Border Zone: the quake was felt in Lori Province of the Republic of Armenia

On April 21, at 10:08 local time (06:08 GMT) the RA MES Seismic Protection Survey Seismological Network registered a 4.0 magnitude earthquake at the Georgian-Russian border zone to 32 kilometers southeast of Telavi, Georgia.

The geographic coordinates of the epicenter of the seismic activity are 41.830 northern latitude and 45.810 eastern longitude.

The hypocenter of the earthquake is located at a depth of 10 km. The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter was 5-6.

The quake was felt in Shnogh village of Lori Province of the Republic of Armenia with a magnitude of 3 and in Alaverdi town of Lori Province with a magnitude of 2-3.
