Over the last year, Armenia has made significant advances in electoral processes and control of corruption.
USAID proudly supports Armenia’s democratic vision by aiding the government, civil society, and citizens in developing and implementing its ambitious democratic reforms.
USAID supported Armenia’s free and fair parliamentary elections, and continues to strengthen electoral institutions and support the reform of the electoral code. We are leveraging our Armenian partners’ commitment to preventing corruption by working together to build the Corruption Prevention Commission.
And we support a wide variety of civil society and media organizations to inform, engage, and empower citizens to be active participants in the democratic future of their country.
