“There will most likely be a need for a second Yezidi volunteer battalion. Contact us if you want to go to Artsakh because we will need another battalion to reinforce us,” Yezidi deputy from My Step, Rustam Bakoyan, said during a Facebook livestream showcasing volunteers enrolling in the Yezidi battalion. He said that Qyaram Sloyan’s mother was among the people in the crowds bidding the volunteers farewell. Qyaram Sloyan’s brother also joined the war effort.
