A representative of the I Have Honor alliance’s headquarters and member of the Republican Party’s Supreme Body, Davit Harutyunyan, believes that the government is not carrying out a political struggle throughout the pre-election campaigns because Nikol Pashinyan is not a political figure. “We are dealing with sociopathic phenomena. In that way, they are warning about their declining ratings.
No one doubts that. During every meeting, Nikol Pashinyan makes statements that raise dozens of new questions,” Davit Harutyunyan noted. In his opinion, “It is obvious that they are trying to provoke such a degree of tension that, if this continues, internal clashes will take place. Now, Nikol Pashinyan is preparing for that. That is unacceptable and I think that our society realizes that every day.” According to Davit Harutyunyan, their leaders are not making calls to violence, and the same goes for the Armenia alliance. “Only the government is urging tension and hate speech.”
