Vahagn Hovakimyan elected Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) with 65 votes for. The Chairman of the NA Accounting Committee Narek Babayan informed about this. 65 deputies out of 107 took part in the voting.

Let us remind that the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs proposed Vahagn Hovakimyan’s candidacy nominated by the Civil Contract Faction for electing in the position of the Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission.
