I will open the parentheses a little,” Hayk Mamijanyan, head of the “With Honor” faction, said in a conversation with journalists in the parliament, referring to the provisions of the RA-Azerbaijan “peace treaty” published by RPA Vice President Armen Ashotyan and Armen Ashotyan’s assertion that, according to a high-ranking EU official, Artsakh we should forget because Nikol Pashinyan has already agreed to leave Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan.
Hayk Mamijanyan, who is a member of the RA NA delegation to the Euronest /EuroNest/ Parliamentary Assembly and participated in the last meetings, said: “During the meeting with us (I won’t say the format and persons), after my speech, which was about the status of Artsakh and the right to self-determination, a high-ranking European official looked me in the eye and said: we know your positions, but they are not relevant in this case; are not because Nikol Pashinyan has not been conducting any negotiations regarding the status of Artsakh for a long time. The negotiation logic is entirely based on the future of Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan. So what are you telling me about now?’
Hayk Mamijanyan emphasized that if anyone dares to deny what he said, he should be prepared that names will be called. “He is a high-ranking official who influences and says the process clearly. Other deputies were also present at our meeting. And he said that Pashinyan is negotiating to leave Artsakh within Azerbaijan, in the logic of Azerbaijan’s composition. Let him deny what he wants. I am responsible for my words. The judicial system of RA is a gift to them. Let them sue.

According to Hayk Mamijanyan, the government is blurring the reality, claiming that they favor using such an international mechanism, by which Baku and Stepanakert will talk about the rights and security of Artsakh Armenians. “When the peace agreement provisions are published, be prepared that the Civil Contract Party members and Pashinyan will try to save their faces. I can say about ten terms with which they will try to do it.”
