According to the current law, a specially equipped plane and a helicopter are provided to the RA Prime Minister for service. However, there is no legal basis for the regulation of relations concerning the organization, implementation and security of flights with that plane and helicopter. The purpose of the amendments is to establish an appropriate authorizing norm. The RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Armen Simonyan said this presenting the proposed amendments to the Law on Ensuring the Activities of Officials, Service and Social Guarantees.
The co-rapporteur, the Deputy Chair of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Arusyak Julhakyan mentioned that the draft is aimed at correcting the legislative gap and establishing an authorizing norm.
The issue was debated at the RA NA sitting on October 3.
