The purpose of the draft is the review of the regulations promoting the reduction of the VAT taxation base through the means of transport being classified to the ATG AA 8703 by the organizations or individual entrepreneurs implementing activities in the general taxation system, the prevention of the incomplete declaration of the income through the means of transport being alienated, as well as the review of the rates of environmental tax in transportation.
The Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Karen Tamazyan said this at the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs on November 10, presenting for debate in the first reading the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Tax Code.
The non-substantiated reductions of the state budget revenue will be restricted by the review, as well as additional revenues of the state budget will be provided while reviewing the rates by the adoption of the draft
It is envisaged that in case of adopting the draft law the law will enter into force from June 1, 2024.
