Ambassador Hovakimian and Daniel Pawlas discuss opportunities to expand the presence of Armenian products in the Czech market

On July 8, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian received Daniel Pawlas, President of the newly established Czech-Armenian Development Chamber. The meeting was also attended by David Kasal, a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and Chair of the Czech Republic-Armenia Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, as well as the Chamber’s Vice-Presidents Slavik Agasaryan, Vahram Vardanyan, and Sargis Muradyan.

During the meeting, representatives of the Czech-Armenian Development Chamber presented the organization’s main areas of activity, objectives and priorities, as well as their vision for developing and strengthening trade, economic and business ties between Armenia and the Czech Republic. Ambassador Hovakimian welcomed the initiative and expressed the Embassy’s readiness, within the scope of its mandate, to support efforts aimed at deepening trade and economic relations between the two countries.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on opportunities to expand the presence of Armenian products on the Czech market, as well as on the prospects for cooperation and possible future initiatives in this regard.
