July 31 to August 1, Ambassador of Armenia Vahagn Afyan participated in a business conclave held in Hyderabad, India, where he presented Armenia’s current economic indexes and investment opportunities. In particular, Ambassador Afyan highlighted the prospects for expanding exports of high-quality Armenian products to new markets, as well as the opportunities offered by the TRIPP route. He encouraged businesses interested in expanding their operations or visiting Armenia to make use of the platforms of the Investment Support Center and the Tourism Committee.
On the eve of the event, which brought together representatives of more than two dozen foreign diplomatic missions, the Ambassador took part in a thematic panel discussion, where he addressed Armenia’s renewable energy sector, the country’s membership in the International Solar Alliance (ISA), the artificial intelligence enterprises being developed in partnership with the globally renowned companies Firebird and NVIDIA, and the upcoming 17th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), to be held in Yerevan.
The opening ceremony of the “India–Asia” event, organized by the Global Indian Business Forum (GIBF), was attended by the Governor of the Indian state of Telangana, Shiv Pratap Shukla. The discussions also brought together business representatives from hundreds of companies participating in the IPEC Expo, held concurrently at the HITEX Exhibition Centre.
