EADaily: The head of the Azerbaijani Diaspora in Moscow, Bakhtiyar Hasanov, has been deported to Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani and Russian media are writing about this today, August 17.

Hasanov was detained in June 2026 and placed in a temporary detention center for migrants. Earlier, his Russian passport was canceled.
