📌 On September 22, within the framework of her working visit to Brussels, the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia, Ms. Anahit Manasyan met with Mr. Friso Roscam Abbing, Head of the FRA Liaison Office in Brussels.
🤝During the meeting, challenges existing in the field of human rights protection, mechanisms for ensuring equality and preventing discrimination, as well as issues related to the effective application of European human rights protection standards were discussed.
⚖️Ms. Anahit Manasyan presented the priorities of the activities of the Human Rights Defender’s Office, with particular reference to existing problems in the field of equality and non-discrimination, as well as the fact that the Human Rights Defender has designated this field as a priority in recent years and intensified the institution’s activities in this direction.
