But Andrias Ghukasyan will continue the indefinite hunger strike
When Paruyr Hayrikyan, the leader of the Union for National Self-Determination (UNSD) and a candidate for president, visited Andrias Ghukasyan, a candidate for president who had gone on a hunger strike, he stated that he intended to join him. Mr. Ghukasyan was not particularly excited about Hayrikyan’s decision. Let us remind that Mr. Hayrikyan said that he was going to join him for some three days and convince him to jointly stop the hunger strike. “I think one shouldn’t stop any struggle halfway. Paruyr Hayrikyan attaches importance to this issue in our country. I am not against his joining me, because I will be on a hunger strike indefinitely,” Mr. Ghukasyan said to www.aravot.am.
Let us also remind that Raffi Hovhannisyan, the leader of the Heritage Party, also visited Mr. Ghukasyan yesterday. The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) hasn’t reacted to Ghukasyan who expects the government’s response.
