www.aravot.am inquired of Artak Zakaryan, an RPA MP, how he would describe this election, taking into account the fact that there were manifold accusations of giving out election bribes and being engaged in electoral fraud against the RPA. He replied: “They have tried to accuse us of illegal actions at all elections. As far as I followed the election – I visited the Ajapnyak administrative district – the election was held in a peaceful atmosphere. Communicating with society, I can say that people describe this election as placid, well-organized with equal rights and conditions for all voters.
“As for the electoral fraud mentioned in the press, every one of those cases should be investigated, and I am sure that it will be clear after solving them, as it was in the previous election that they are empty and aim at casting a shadow over this election.”
