President of “National Security” Party Garnik Isagulyan, recently, proposed to establish a Council of Presidents and unify the RA Presidents Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan round table. Given that, Garnik Isagulyan should apply to Serzh Sargsyan suggesting to sit down and discuss the current state of Armenia after joining the Customs Union, in that format.
Aravot.am inquired from the member of ANC party, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Party Vladimir Karapetyan as to what this round table will provide, and as to what extent the proposal is acceptable for the first President. He answered, “I can not answer instead of the first President, but the decision is already made up. If Serzh Sargsyan had something to consult, he could have done it before the initiative. He has already demonstrated his attitude towards the political opposition by the instruction to the Court of Appeal, by keeping Tigran Arakelyan in prison. It is a message. Serzh Sargsyan’s message is also the fact that it has been 25 days since he is not communicating with the public as to why Armenia made such a decisive, historic turnover. I think if he wanted or felt himself the leader of the public, he first would communicate with the people, present the motives of making such a decision. In other words, he despises the people. Why should Ter-Petrosyan or more people want to discuss it with him? First of all, Serzh Sargsyan should be talked to the people.”
