Interstate highway at the border is again closed

Currently, Voskepar-Baghanis section of Armenia-Georgia interstate highway is closed to traffic. Highway patrol officers and the police are standing near Sourb Astvatzatzin church of Voskepar village and near the village of Baghanis, who are conducting a control over the traffic not to pass through this bordering section. Baghanis villagers told us that the traffic in Voskepar-Baghanis section was closed since November 2, in the evening. Currently, the car traffic is made through bypass of Voskepar-Baghanis, along the road stretched by Harsnakar. In addition, this section of the border in recent days is quiet, and it was unknown what caused the closure of the main road.
