Answer of the MFA Spokesperson Tigran Balayan to the question by the radio “Liberty”
Question: Today Baku stated about the death of RA citizen Karen Petrosyan, who appeared in Azerbaijan yesterday. How would you comment this?
Answer: We are shocked by the murder of Karen Petrosyan in Baku, the villager of Tavush, and we express our condolences to his relatives and beloved ones.
To present a young villager as a saboteur, to subject him to various humiliations, that are contrary to all the principles of international law and elementary morality, is appalling as in its nature as to the extent it was presented to the society.
Similar barbarous approach is characteristic to notorious terrorists, who first humiliate the hostage in front of cameras, then kill. Azerbayjan is going contrary to international community, continuing to violate all universal values.
