The bourgeois democratic revolution was to begin one year ago. Everybody knows what the authorities did to make it not happen. But “government measures” were expected and it was very easy to calculate them. It seems that it was possible to predict the methods of the government to defend itself from the revolution, particularly, not much, to be said, needed to say. What the “bourgeois democrats” were relying on, it is hard to say. However, all of this is petty, “tactical” problems, they are forgotten very quickly. And it is not even important that those who one year ago were bragging, now, they do not say, sorry, we were wrong.
There is a more fundamental point, which today makes such a revolution impossible. It is above all the absence of bourgeoisie and secondly, the Democrats. Instead of the bourgeoisie, we have enriched people, as well as high-ranking officials in an unequal competition fight, who have used their leverage to become a millionaire. They do not have an economic benefit to “seriously” do a revolution, they can, of course, growl that they do not get sufficient privileges. But these problems can solvable via administration and non-revolutionary way.
We do not also have democrats as an organized political force. There are like-minded citizens (in my opinion, few by number). But these people are unable to create systems in which democratic rules dominate. Those who allegedly fight for democracy, in fact, completely fit in today’s authoritarian system. If people have made their practice a morbid and paranoid suspicion, if they see conspiracies under every bush, these people would hardly create a democratic party in the first place and then, in the case of coming to power, to spread over the whole state system.
Therefore, prior to initiating anything by state scale, it should be tested as a model in narrow political circles. If you see that it is successful, you can try to spread it over the society. If people feel that the model is working, they will enroll the ranks of this political party or this movement. Revolution is possible only in that case if the target is truly the transition from the authoritarianism to democracy.
And if the target was to get the use of the levers in the same system, then the option of Dashnaktsutyun is the most logical.
