As the translator Anush Sedrakyan mentioned in an interview with “Aravot”, “He has written many novels but these two novels are the most famous ones: “The Kite Runner” and “And the Mountains Echoed.

” Both of them are huge novels and immediately give the drama that is very close to the Armenian with its fated principle to overcoming difficult paths. At the same time, it gives the image of a free world where a man with traditional thinking and living has a problem in finding his place. This is the novel “And the Mountains Echoed” where the traditional and modern classes clash at the same time where the human tragedy is apparent.”
