On November 26, while paying a working visit to Antananarivo, Edward Nalbandian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, had a meeting with Jean-Claude Gakosso, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Diaspora of the Republic of the Congo.
The Foreign Minister of Congo mentioned that he recalls with warmth his visit to Armenia last year to participate in the 31th Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie and outlined that he is glad to sign today the document, which was agreed last year in Yerevan.
The Ministers discussed the possibilities to develop relations between the two countries in political, economic, educational and cultural areas. In this regard the importance of creating legal framework was highlighted.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the agenda issues of the International Organization of La Francophonie.

At the end of the meeting, the Ministers signed Memorandum on holding political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries.
