On the night of December 11-12 the Azerbaijani forces shelled the Armenia positions 14 times from 82mm mortars in the southern (Horadiz) direction of the Line of Contact between Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh.
As NKR Defense Ministry reports in a released statement, the adversary violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan more than 30 times for the mentioned period, firing over 400 shots from weapons of different calibers.
NKR Defense Army vanguard units largely refrained from response actions and retaliated only in case of urgent necessity. The situation along the entire Line of Contact is relevantly calm as of morning December 12, reads the statement.
