Increase in ceasefire violations recorded on the night of December 20-21 in all directions of the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan, except the northern (Gyulistan) direction. According to the report by the Nagorno Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army, the Azerbaijani forces made over 40 ceasefire violations, firing around 1,000 shots toward the Armenian positions from weapons of different calibers, UTYOS heavy machine guns and sniper rifles among them.
NKR Defense Army vanguard units took preventive measures in case of urgent necessity and continued confidently implementing their combat duties, says the statement.
