Whoever rebelled SAS’s Artak’s meeting would be torn apart by applauders: Aram Manukyan

“Were all of you watching Arabkir’s elections? It was a movie, indeed”, told the secretary of the Armenian National Congress faction Aram Manukyan during the briefing in the parliament.

Aram Manukyan told that the recording of Artak Sargsyan – SAS’s Artak revealed that threats were in place during these elections. That recording was also affixed to the application to Constitutional Court, by ANC. According to Aram Manukyan, Artak Sargsyan has committed criminal offenses: “There were at least 5-6 articles of law violations.”

To the question whether those records were publicized due to the authority’s order, Aram Manukyan replied that he could not say who had put those records: “Within the authorities, squabbles exist and it is said that the ones receiving many votes may resign and leave…not solely within the Republican Party, but in the faction as well the picture is the same. They are worth it, let them destroy each other.” Aram Manukyan recalled an old Greek proverb – slave is a slave, as it desires not freedom but his own slave: “These people want their own slaves.”

According to him, this is an inner defeatist war for Armenia, we have lost to ourselves. To be defeated in one’s own country by one’s own authority is a way worse story. To the question why during Artak Sargsyan’s humiliating meeting no one rebelled, Aram Manukyan answered that publicizing the recording is already a rebellion and when someone has the issue of his child’s bread, shoe, it is difficult to voice, particularly that the others’ applauses were extremely suppressing, whoever rebelled amid those applauses, they would have torn him/her apart.
