On 20 April President Bako Sahakyan received the “Artsakh” team members who had won the Armenia Men’s Basketball League A championship.
The President noted the significance of this victory qualifying it as the result of a painstaking work of the sportsmen and the coaches.
The Head of the State underlined that it is necessary strive persistently to achieve new successes, underlining that the state would henceforth pay special attention to the development of sports and physical culture.
Minister of nature protection and natural resources, chairman of the Artsakh Basketball Federation Vazgen Mikayelyan, minister of education, science and sports Narine Aghabalyan and other officials partook at the meeting.
