Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Armenia Yogeshwar Sangwan. Pointing to the need for continued development of relations between the two countries, the Prime Minister noted that the Armenian government is keen to expand and deepen cooperation in different fields of activity. Nikol Pashinyan considered it necessary to promote the development of trade and economic relations and take appropriate steps in that direction.
In turn, Yogeshwar Sangwan highlighted the deeply-rooted Armenian-Indian ties, noting that they have great development potential. The Ambassador assured of his readiness to do his utmost in order to promote diversified exchanges between the two countries.
During the meeting, the parties discussed various issues related to the opportunities and prospects for expanding cooperation in economy, inclusive of information technologies, tourism, healthcare, education and culture.
