No criminal case has ever been initiated upon ‘WikiLeaks’ publications and no accusation has ever been lodged against any person, mentioned international relations expert, Suren Sargsyan. “I am not familiar with any criminal case initiated upon “WikiLeaks” publication. But this report of “WikiLeaks” essentially differs from other reports, inasmuch as here the member of the Constitutional Court has met with the representatives of the US Embassy and conveyed the message to Washington very clearly,” said Mr Sargsyan.
According to him, the US Embassies send the reports on their activities to the Department of State constantly, and the “WikiLeaks” was an outflow of a lot of documents, that were either secret or semi-secret, intended for official usage.
Mr Sargsyan highlighted that reports spread not only through “WikiLeaks”, but also other ways should be taken into account, and the archives of the Department of State were open, dozens of thousands of similar reports of different years were disclosed, and these ones were not news from that perspective.
