Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan spoke about the steady increase of economic activity in Armenia on his Facebook page.
“The economic activity index in Armenia is steadily increasing.
According to statistics published by the National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia, economic activity in Armenia in July rose to the double digits at 11.1 percent, which is higher than June’s already high percent of 9.6.
The seven-month economic activity index of 2018, therefore, also rose to 9.3 percent, higher than June’s 8.9 percent.
As I said on August 17th, changing the dynamic of economic growth is one of our top political priorities. We need to have the kind of economic growth that, with every percentage growth, people can feel it taking place in their lives.
But it is also important that the government is balanced and considerate in this aspect so that we can stay away from economic shock. I am happy that such politics is giving us exact results.
