The Armenian student boxing team has completed all their matches in Elista, Russia, during the world championships for students.
Our team won three silver and one bronze medals overall. Zhorzhik Marutyan, weighing 56 kg, Henrik Sargsyan, weighing 91 kg, and Gurgen Hovhannisyan, who is extremely heavy, all stood on the platform. Anush Grigoryan won a bronze medal in the 51 kg group.
The Armenian student boxers had never had this many successes during participation. The best results took place during the 2013 world student games, where the team won one silver and one bronze.
