The office of Serzh Sargsyan rejected yet another offer on October 3rd for a private home which legally is entitled to the former president, which was purchased by the government offices last month.
The head of the government offices Eduard Aghajanyan confirmed the information published by CivilNet, emphasizing that this will be the last offer to Sargsyan.
Serzh Sargsyan, as the former president, according to the law, should have been offered a house. The government has made ten offers to the office of Serzh Sargsyan, which have all been rejected.
The latest offer was a home in the Avan district. It was worth more than 600 million drams. According to the head of the prime minister’s office, Sargsyan’s office did not agree to this either, since they saw issues with security in one of the electrical lines. However, the NSS did not see any problems with the home.
Since the home in Avan was the last offer to be made to Sargsyan, it’s expected that the government will not make any more offers.
