The findings of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s statistical report on the small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) sector in Armenia were recently in focus at a workshop in Yerevan. The event was the third such workshop organised through the EU4Business initiative.
The participants also discussed the provision of structural business statistics and business demography statistics, as well as comparisons between the Armenian SME sector and that of other countries. The workshop was also an opportunity to discuss issues concerning the dissemination of statistics based on international best practices.
The event was organised within the “EU4Business: From Policies to Action” regional programme, which supports competitiveness and business environment reforms in the Eastern Partner countries, working both at country and regional level.
