During a press conference in St. Petersburg organized by the St. Petersburg representative of the New Generation youth organization, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan was asked about his impression of the international economic forum and whether he intends to create a similar platform in Armenia.
“I am impressed with this forum, including how well-organized it is and the environment and atmosphere that it has created. We have had very important meetings and negotiations here, so I am satisfied with our participation. The plenary session was also interesting. The session was about international and regional agendas and Eurasian collaboration issues. It is a great platform for meetings between leaders and it’s a great way for business representatives to share information,” Nikol Pashinyan said.
He added that there are plans to hold an international congress for information technologies in Armenia in October. “We are currently working on issues together. It is also time for us to think about holding a yearly forum. Perhaps that will be a Eurasian, international, or Pan-Armenian forum. In any case, such platforms are important for meetings and for discussions, new opportunities, economic, and political collaboration.”
