ARMENPRESS. Three kangaroos at the Yerevan Zoo have been mauled to death by several stray dogs early morning on Thursday.
The Yerevan Zoo said in a statement that the dogs entered the zoo territory at 05:00.
Zoo personnel contacted an agency in charge of dealing with stray dogs for assistance.
Veterinarians attempted to save the kangaroos but failed to do so.

The bucks were brought to the Yerevan Zoo from the Chisinau Zoo in Moldova in 2018.
This is the third incident involving stray dog attacks on animals kept in the zoo since 2011.
The Yerevan Zoo said the incident happened because partial problems in its barriers, but said that the City Hall has already launched a construction process this year to install fences around the territory.
