Earthquake hits 16 km South from Barda

On December 20, at 08:00 local time (at 04:00 by GMT) the RA MES Seismic Protection Survey Seismological Network registered an earthquake at the northern latitude of 40.20⁰ and eastern longitude of 47.12⁰ geographic coordinates (16 km south from Barda city, Azerbaijan- Artsakh Republic border zone) with 3.0 magnitude and 10 km depth.

The tremor measured magnitude 4 at the epicenter area.

The earthquake was felt in Stepanakert at 3-4 magnitudes.
