PACE President Rik Daems will have an audience with Pope Francis on 21 September.
In addition, in the framework of a working visit, the PACE President will hold the next day bilateral meetings with the Speakers of both chambers of the Italian Parliament, Maria Elisabetta Casellati, President of the Italian Senate, and Roberto Fico, President of the Chamber of Deputies.
The President will also meet Marina Sereni, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Piero Fassino, as well as the Head of the Italian delegation to PACE, Alvise Maniero, and members of the delegation.
