How long will the ceasefire last? Are there any specific agreements? Journalists asked the representative of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, these questions. During his recent press conference, he said that more information will be released and he cannot answer those questions. “I do not have enough information.” Artsrun Hovhannisyan asked that journalists refrain from asking him questions about military positions since the war has not ended yet.
Artsrun Hovhannisyan also said that the situation in the Syunik Province is normal, and there are no military offenses. “We are receiving updated information about our casualties. The ceasefire is another opportunity for us to present more specific information.”
When asked about how the Azerbaijani side is doing everything to prove that the Armenian side violated the ceasefire and if he has any proof to show the international community otherwise, Artsrun Hovhannisyan said, “We don’t always need to deny, confirm, or focus our efforts towards proving something. Did we expect anything else from the Azerbaijani side? I didn’t.”
