On February 2, the RA NA Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration Mikayel Melkumyan met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to our country Alexander Konyuk.
Melkumyan congratulated the Ambassador on being appointed in such responsible post. He highlighted the cooperation with Belarus in the EEU framework, particularly in terms of showing united approach in the issue of gas price. Alexander Konyuk informed about the concrete programmes that they proposed to create Armenian-Belarussian joint company, which would be involved in the production of lifts.
Mikayel Melkumyan congratulated the Belarusian people on the occasion of Ostrovets newly built Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) operation, especially underlining the role of Metsamor NPP employees especially in the operation of turbine workshop.
