Ali Akbar Ojagh-Nejat, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei’s representative in Azerbaijan, has left the latter and is in Tehran, the Iranian embassy in Baku told the BBC, Haqqin.az reported.
It is noted that Ojagh-Nejat has been in Tehran for a month already.
As reported earlier, Ali Akbar Ojagh-Nejat’s respective office in Baku and the Husseiniyya Mosque were shut Tuesday due to the coronavirus, chief of the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry’s press service, Ehsan Zahidov said, Azerbaijani media had reported. “The Husseiniyya Mosque is one of the places where the coronavirus infection has spread in recent days. As in other places, the Husseiniyya mosque has been closed,” Zahidov had said.
