On May 13, within the framework of the Europe Day 2022 celebrations in Gyumri, EU Ambassador Wiktorin participated in a national conference dedicated to the International Day of Family, organised by World Vision Armenia in the framework of the EU funded Family Environment and Services in Communities for Children of Armenia” (FESCCA) projects. Ambassadors and representatives from EU member states joined the event.

“The family should be a safe place, where each one would find and hold their place, a place that is just and rewarding, conducive to a harmonious and balanced life. Against all odds, it remains the most precious asset of humankind. By investing in families, we invest in the future”, mentioned the Ambassador during her welcoming speech. In close coordination with the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, World Vision and its partners implement this project, which aims to contribute to establishing community-based quality care and social support for children in Armenia.
