“Russia has completely refused to supply us with weapons. Today, Armenia has paid serious sums to Russia, but the weapons are not coming. I’m telling a fact, let the authorities say it’s wrong,” Aram Sargsyan, chairman of the Republic party, said in a conversation with A1+, adding that Russia itself is trying to buy weapons from other countries during the war with Ukraine.
And in such conditions, according to Aram Sargsyan, Armenia should leave the CSTO to be able to buy weapons from other countries. Referring to the 44-day war, Aram Sargsyan says that as early as October 17, it was demanded from Nikol Pashinyan that the document contain an agreement to hand over the enclaves and provide a corridor, otherwise they threatened to enter Stepanakert. “Pashinyan did not agree to that. And that document was presented on November 9,” added Aram Sargsyan.
