The Bishop criticizes the government’s tendency to align with the positions of Turkish and Azerbaijani authorities. He accuses the current leadership of deceit, manipulating votes and resorting to fear tactics.
He also asserted that the current authorities excel in deceit, having fraudulently stolen the people’s vote and now, with pointed fingers, threaten war if unilateral concessions aren’t accepted.
“A coward of the highest order, a habitual liar who changes his tune from one moment to the next,” he added.
“This battle is against falsehoods, as lies permeate our lives and infiltrate every aspect. As an example, today in Gyumri, a woman pointed her finger at me, questioning why my sons should serve while the reverend’s sons remain exempt,” Srbazan recounted. It should be noted that Archbishop Bagrat is celibate and has no sons.
Addressing police brutality and unjust arrests, the Bishop condemns the fabrication of cases against protesters. He criticizes some policemen as hooligans rather than upholders of law.
Srbazan identifies Pashinyan as a symbol of deceit, asserting the imperative for truth to prevail in the country. He advocates for the liberation of political prisoners, the freedom of the church, and the empowerment of the military.
The Bishop announces plans to visit other cities before concluding activities in Yerevan. He promises a major rally in the near future to celebrate the triumph of truth.
