On September 16, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received a delegation from the international charitable Nazarene Foundation at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, led by its founder, Father Benedict Keely.
During the meeting, Father Benedict Keely presented His Holiness with an overview of the Foundation’s activities, including its educational, social, and agricultural programs implemented in Armenia in cooperation with the dioceses and communities of the Armenian Church.
Also referring to the challenges facing the Armenian Apostolic Church, the guests expressed their support for the Church and their readiness to help raise international awareness of its mission.

His Holiness then blessed the Foundation’s representatives and expressed his appreciation for the charitable programs implemented in Armenia and the support provided to the Armenian people.
The Supreme Patriarch emphasized that the attention, care, and love shown toward those in need offer hope and consolation to people facing hardship, strengthening their faith and instilling optimism.
His Holiness noted that humanitarian service is an integral part of the Church’s mission and spoke about the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin’s social programs and the assistance provided to families in need.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Catholicos of All Armenians wished the Foundation’s representatives God’s assistance and success in their humanitarian mission.
