New details. Ashotyan’s advisor has sent a “message” to Hrayr on behalf of the National Security Service with a request to delete the status

July 09,2014 16:30

The former “Heritage” party member, Daniel Ioannisyan, was present at the conversation between the Education minister’s advisor, Narek Araksman-Manukyan and Hrayr Manukyan. He presented new details about Armen Ashotyan’s advisor’s connection with the National Security Service. Recall that during today’s press conference, the “Heritage” party leader, Raffi Hovhannisyan, stated that the Education minister’s advisor was associated with the attempt of recruitment of their board member Hrayr Manukyan. “Here, once again, the illegality of the current regime is brought, participation of two departments, specifically, the NSS and, secondly, the liaison was the Education minister’s advisor. We should demand the law enforcement agencies, if possible, to come out of politicized subordination and clarify everything.” This statement was followed by Armen Ashotyan’s surprise and bewilderment. As said by Daniel Ioannisyan, “First, the minister’s advisor, Narek, has introduced Hrayr to Vlad (meaning Vlad Hakobyan introduced an employee of the National Security Service, – H. J.). Narek introduces Vlad to Hrayr, and at that moment, he is receiving a call and then leaving. After Narek’s leave, it turns out that it absolutely was not an accidental meeting. Vlad knows everything about Hrayr and is trying to “recruit” him. Hrayr refuses, but since Vlad was very determined, Hrayr, to escape the situation, is saying, “Give me time”. After that, Vlad continues calling Hrayr and one regular day, Hrayr agrees to meet with Vlad. He was with a recorder. You know the continuation. I can tell that right after the meeting with Vlad, Hrays is coming to see me and we listen to the recording together with Hrayr. On the same day, Hrayr decides to post a status on his Facebook page about the meeting with the NSS employee. And he gets a call from Armen Ashotyan’s advisor, Narek. Narek says to him that he was threatened, these intimidations are not serious, it’s just his style, do not worry, they’ll do nothing to you, and so on. He, in his own way, put himself of a mediator between the NSS and Hrayr. Nick was convincing Hrayr to remove the status. At first, he succeeded to convince him to remove it. He was saying, remove it, and I promise you that nothing will happen to you. In other words, he was even guaranteeing in the place of NSS. So, there are few questions related to the minister’s advisor. The first connection is that he is introducing them to each other, although it was played as an accidental meeting, but just from the fact that Vlad was prepared for the meeting, it becomes evident that it was not accidental. Vlad already knew very well who Hrayr is. On the other hand, Narek puts himself in the position of a mediator. Moreover, he was giving promises on behalf of the NSS, remove your status and I promise that nothing will happen to you. If he is not associated with NSS, he cannot give promises on behalf of the NSS. If he gives promises, then he has strong connections with NSS.” Daniel Ioannisyan mentioned that the Minister of Education and Science, Armen Ashotyan, should approach the matter from a different perspective. “Now, he was supposed to ask Gorik Hakobyan, Gorik Gurgenich, what is your assistant doing among my advisors? Do you pursue me? If I were Ashotyan, I would have made such a reaction. I think that this advisor has pursued Ashotyan in the same way. As to why Ashotyan is not interested in it, but rather what Raffi Hovannisian said…If it is more important for Ashotyan to clarify relations with the quartet rather than why the NSS is pursuing him, what can I say?”
